| Many thanks Betty for a lovely weekend, your smile and warm welcome made us feel at home before we even entered through the front door.
The bedrooms were very spacious and the cleanliness was of the highest standard.
The personalisation of the breakfast each morning was excellent.
Thanks again for making our visit to Ireland a memorable one.
Hope to see you again soon. |

Hi Betty,
Remember us? Thom and Chris from Colorado, and we stayed with you for our Niece’s wedding the reception was at Kinnitty Castle.
We often think of you and enjoyed our stay.
We did travel to Dublin, Galway, Ring of Kerry, and so many other places, took a train and hiked and walked a lot.
We meet wonderful people, saw much of the beauty of Ireland, weathered the rain ate a lot and stayed in many B and B’s however we enjoyed your’s the BEST!
I still haven’t taken the time to make your bread but I will…..
Hope your summer was enjoyable and thanks again for a wonderful stay! |

| My friends and I so enjoyed our stay with you.
I am dreaming of the brown bread ...
Sadly the recipe was lost at the airport.
If you could find the time to part with it again I would really enjoy making it.
Thank you so much. |

Bluestack Walking in Kinnitty.
As member of the Bluestack Ramblers Donegal Town. I was co-erced to join the 27 other Donegal Town footsloggers over the May Bank holiday weekend in Kinnitty Co. Offaly.
Over the three days there were a series of walks, ranging from one to four hours we chose the four hour ones joining 40 other walkers from every corner of the country the craic and the people were great.
Sixteen of our party stayed in Aaron House, run by Betty and Mike Grimes with daughter Robyn serving our breakfast, and whose hospitality was second to none. Packed lunches, supplies of water, were ready each day, free beer, tea, coffee available in the sitting room, plus beautiful rooms all ensuite.
I can tell you Betty had some patience to put up with us, especially the late nights coming back from nearby Kinnitty Castle, where the craic was great with traditional country and modern music all served up along with dinner in it's dark Dungeon. |
